BREAKING: Manchester United to battle it out with Barcelona as chase of La liga star gets tougher

​Manchester United have contacted Sevilla about highly rated defender Clement Lenglet, reports L'Equipe.

The 22-year-old Frenchman is considered one of the most promising defenders in Europe, and has been heavily linked with a switch to Barcelona.

But United could throw their name in the ring with a £31 million (€35m/$42m) bid for Lenglet.
