Pep Guardiola is keen to be reunited with his former Barcelona star at the Etihad and City have renewed their interest after nearly signing him for £60million on deadline day.
Sanchez’s contract with the Gunners expires in July of next summer and he’s understood to want to move to Etihad, with De Bruyne claiming that the pllayer will come.
The Belgium playmaker also claims the Chilean would be a great addition to their star-studded attack.
“He’s a very good player,” said de Bruyne. “When he comes, he will add something to the team.
“Obviously we will see what happens in this transfer period. We don’t have to take care about that anyway.
“If a good player comes to us that is better, if he doesn’t come, we do it with the team we have. We are in a good period already, over the whole season. Everybody is doing a good job.”
