BREAKING: Barcelona breaks spending world record throughout a single season, Real Madrid surprisingly fall behind. The figures will amaze you


The landing of Philippe Coutinho for around 120million euros plus 40million others as add-ons has taken Barca’s spending fee to 312.5milion euros in 2017/18 only.
And the Catalans are now the side who have spended the most in a season. 

The La Liga giants have left behind their bitter rivals Real Madrid, who held the record 257.4million euros who set the record in 2009/10, in the same season when Cristiano Ronaldo, Leite Kaka and others completed their moves to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Paris Saint-Germain wheir fee of 160msputed leaders in this aspect if their fee spend on Kylian Mbappe would be counted for this season spending.
But due to Financial Fair Play rules, the Ligue 1 giants and Monaco have agreed for the transfer to be completed next summer for 150million euros, which will be registered as money spend before 2018/19 season.
The Parc des Princes side have spent 238million euros this season.
Before the landing of Coutinho, Manchester City of Pep Guardiola were second having spent 249.3million euros last summer.
We have to add that the Blaugrana’s fee of spending could be risen further if they sign Yerry Mina later this month.
