Bale has endured an injury-hit past couple of years at the Bernabeu and looks set to be moved on at the end of the season.
Real are keen on bringing in Hazard as part of a frontline shake-up which will also see Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema pushed towards the exit door.
The latest reports from Spain suggest Real were eager to include Bale in a deal that would see Hazard head to Spain.
However, it seems Bale’s sense of loyalty to former club Tottenham has proved a barrier to such an agreement being reached.
According to transfer rumour specialists Don Balon, Bale does not want to betray Spurs by joining their London rivals Chelsea.
But Bale has apparently not entirely ruled out a return to the Premier League, where he made his name.
Don Balon indicate the winger would be interested in joining Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
