The Egyptian, who failed to find the back of the net in his side’s 4-2 loss against AS Roma on Wednesday night, has been compared to the likes Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi recently, thanks to the 43 goals he has scored this season.
Ramos, who is chasing his third consecutive Champions League trophy, insisted that the African forward is just another player and that he is not scared to go up against the 25-year-old.
“We have seen what Salah can do this season, but he will just be one of 11 players we face against Liverpool,” he told the Mirror.
“Throughout my career, I have faced the best forward players in the world – many of them who are considered among the greatest ever.
“For me, there is never a fear. Respect, yes, but never fear.”
Salah has made 12 appearances in the Champions League this season, scoring 10 goals and further assisting in five more.
